I heard the spring peepers (frogs) last night for the first time this year! Yesterday I saw the first Easter flower bloomed! A couple days ago we thumped some hawg bass on Jerk baits! Today I'm going to catch a monster slab Crappie! ....(I hope).

BASS
Notes on Action: We found pretty good action and some real good sized fish the other day. Check out the two that Jonathan Faust (8 years old) and his Dad caught.
What to Use: Jerk baits, crank baits and shaky jigs will produce.
Where to Fish: Banks near the creek channel in bays and shallow points.

CRAPPIE
Notes on Action: I've fished shallow for 6 hours in the past few days and haven't caught the first Crappie. This should change SOON!

Sorry I don't have more for you, but stay in touch and I'll let you know what's happening.

Captain Kirk, out!
