I took this photo of the sun setting on the trees IN Kentucky Lake.

It reminded me of words a client from Italy (Andrea) once said while fishing with me on his first visit to the states..."America Beautiful". Yes, even in a flood, I find KY Lake beautiful.

The water levels are getting closer to normal each day, so if you're going to get in on this fast shallow action in the trees you'd better hurry!

BASS
You can catch bass right now on almost any pattern. Top water to deep jigging will get you bit!

BLUEGILL / RED EAR
The action is fast on the Bluegill and sporadic on Red Ears. The gills are at the peak of their spawn.

CRAPPIE
The action is slow on Crappie, yet still possible to catch a nice mess of slabs.

CATFISH
Catfish are spawning and it's the best time of year to catch cats shallow.

Now's the time to book your best BIG Bass fishing trip with me. E-mail Info@CaptainKirksGuideService.com or call 877-354-6017.

If you'd like to view pictures of past and recent catches, check 'em out ot my "Pictures" web page.

See ya on the water!
Captain Kirk, out!
