I've heard it and read it from better fishermen than I, "Fish where the fish are coming to you!". I've spent a couple days recently with two of my favorite people, Ed and Teri Thorson, (15+ year clients) doing just that. We fished offshore. We knew we were in for good action because the graph was "lit up" with arches and you could even see what looked like oil bubbling up from the depths. That oil was digested shad that the fish were burping up! Honest! We caught Crappie, Sauger, White Bass, Yellow Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and GOBS of Largemouth Bass. You want to know the best thing though? This "offshore" fishing will just keep getting better for the next few months.
